UFC 164 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on August 31, will see in the main event TJ Grant (21-5) challenge Benson “Smooth” Henderson (19-2) for the UFC Lightweight title.
MMA Lab product Benson Henderson has won 7 fights in a row, including taking the Lightweight title from and defending it against Frankie Edgar. Along with successful defenses over Nate Diaz and Gilbert Melendez.
TJ grant entered the UFC competing as a Welterweight. But, after going 3-3 in his first 6 bouts Grant made the move down to Lightweight. Since the drop in weight class Grant is 5-0 defeating Shane Roller (SUB), Carlo Prater (UND), Evan Dunham (UND), Matt Wiman (KO), and Gray Maynard (TKO).
