Andrews vs. Abedi & Alloway vs. Cummings Added to UFC on Fox Sports 1 2

Two bouts have been added UFC on Fox Sports 1 2 card with at Middleweight Dylan Andrews (16-4) taking on Papy Abedi (9-2) and at Welterweight Ben Alloway (13-4) meeting Zak Cummings (15-3).

Dylan Andrews was a member of team Jones on the 17th season of TUF and made it all the way to the semifinals after being the final pick. At the TUF 17 Finale, Andrews would score a 1st round TKO win over Jimmy Quinlan.

Papy Abedi comes into this fight off of his 1st UFC, earning a split decision over Besam Yousef. Abedi had lost his first two UFC bouts to Thiago Alves and James Head both by submission.

Ben Alloway is a native of Australia who represented his home country on The Ultimate Fighter UK vs. Australia “TUF Smashes”. Since the show in UFC competition Alloway has went 1-1, defeating Manuel Rodriguez by 1st round TKO and then suffering a unanimous decision loss to Ryan LaFlare at UFC on Fuel TV 9. The loss snapped what was a 6 fight winning streal.

For Zak Cummins this will be his UFC debut as an injury kept Cummins from competing at the TUF 17 finale. Cummins has fought as big as Light Heavyweight, competed on TUF as a Middleweight and is now making his UFC debut as a Welterweight. Cummins has won his last two fights over Lamont Stafford and Brandon Newsome both by decision.

UFC on Fox Sports 1 2 will take place on August 28 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana; and is headlined by “The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit vs. Martin “The Hitman” Kammpmann II.
