GSP vs. Hendricks November 16, in Las Vegas

The UFC announced earlier this week that Georges “Rush” St. Pierre (24-2) will make his next title defense on November 16 against top contender Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricks (15-1).

With the fight being set for Las Vegas this will end a streak a 3 consecutive title defenses for GSP on his home Canadian soil. Over “Rush” has won 11 fights in a row including 8 consecutive title defenses. St. Pierre is coming off a UFC 158 unanimous decision win over Nick Diaz. Since the March title defense St. Pierre has done work in the movie industry and will be in the next Captain America movie as well as the french version of Monsters University.

Since his lone career loss to Rick Story, Johny Hendricks has won 6 fights in a row. During Hendricks winning streak he has stopped TJ Waldburger, Jon Fitch, and Martin Kampmann by KO/TKO, along with getting the judges nod against Mike Pierce, Josh Koscheck, and Carlos Condit. “Bigg Rigg” got his nick mane for the way he hits with 8 of 9 stoppage wins by TKO/KO.
