UFC on FX 8-Bahadurzada Replaces Saffiedine vs. Lawler & Carmouche vs. Andrade Added

The last Strikeforce Welterweight champion Tarec Saffedine (14-3) will have to wait for his UFC debut, as he is sidelined by injury and forced out of his UFC on FX 8 bout with “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler (20-9-0, 1nc). Lawler will instead tangle with Siyar Bahadurzada (21-5-1).

Robbie Lawler is coming off of a 1st round TKO win over Josh Kosheck, at UFC 157. Bahadurzada is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Dong Hyun Kim at, UFC on Fuel TV 8; which ended a 7 fight winning streak.

The UFC has also announced that replacing Meisha Tate, who is now coaching the currently being filmed season of TUF; will be Jessica “Bate Estaca”Andrade (9-2) against Liz “Gril-Rilla” Carmouche (8-3). Jessica Andrade has won 7 of 8 fights including consecutively submitting Luciana dos Passos Pereira and Milana Dudieva. Carmouche is coming off losing to Ronda Rousey by armbar at UFC 157.

UFC on FX 8 takes place on July 27, at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington; and is headlined by John Moraga (13-1) challenging Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson (17-2-1)
