XFC 25 Adds Lima vs. Rainey, Skinner vs. Chavez, & Moel vs. Sanchez

This week XFC made the big announcement that Dhiego Lima (8-1) vs. “The Sniper” Ricky Rainey (7-1) will serve as the XFC 25 co-main event. The event will be the first time for XFC to enter the land of enchantment and the local attention will be on Chavez Dojo members Joby Sanchez (4-0) and “South Valley’s Own” Angelica Chavez (4-2) who will be facing facing Eric Moel (3-1) and Stephanie “The Scrapper” Skinner (2-4).

Dhiego Lima has won back to back fights over Nick Hinchliffe (UD) and Roger Carroll (TKO). Lima has 7 of 8 wins by stoppage with 3 KO/TKO’s and 4 submissions.Rick Rainey has won 3 fights in a row including scoring his 3rd career win by KO/TKO, stopping Reggie Pena in the 1st round of their XFC 24 co-main event bout.

Eric Moell and Joby Sanchez were expected to do battle at XFC 23 but a Sanchez injury postponed the Flyweight bout. Moell has lost 3 of 4 fights. Moell last saw victory defeating Jay Wadsworth by submission. Sanchez has all 4 his career win by stoppage, with 3 of the 4 being by submission. Sanchez last competed at XFC 20 submitting Christopher Dunn in a Bantamweight contest.

After starting her career with 4 straight wins by submission Angelic Chavez is now looking to stop a two fight losing streak. Stephanie Skinner after starting her career 0-3 ha won 2 of her last 3 fights; most recently defeating Margaret Bloom by 2nd round TKO.
