There has been the addition of 4 new bouts to the XFC 25: Boiling Points card with at Lightweight division Jackson’s/Winkeljohn’s fighter Landon Vannata (2-0) takes on Charles Radtke (1-0). Vannata last fought defeating Adrian Apodaca by 1st round TKO in May of 2012. Radtke after a 5-1 amateur career made his pro debut in November of 2011 submitting Jimmy Kim in round 1.
Also in the Lightweight division Chavez Dojo’s Franciso Marin (0-0) will make his pro debut against Joe Torres (1-3), who is coming off a win over Pete Sabala.
In a Welterweight collision Ian Stephens (4-0) squares off with Ryan Thomas (16-5). Stephens has won back to back decision in the XFC promotion over Ryan Quinn and Joe Heink. Thomas has won 4 fights in a row including at scoring the 10th submission win of his career, armbaring Corey Hill in the 1st round of their XFC 21 contest.
In Featherweight action Stephan “Bigfish” Bass (10-1) vs. Farkhad Sharipov (13-5). Bass who was a cast member of TUF season 14, has not fought since losing to Marcus Brimage at the TUF 14 Finale. Bass is a grappler who has 5 of 6 stoppage wins by submission. Sharipov will be looking to end a 2fight losing skid in which “Frank” has dropped decisions to Jessie Rigleman and Fabio Mello; following a 6 fight win streak.
XFC 25: Boiling Points takes place on September 6 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and is headlined by Stephanie Eggink vs. Angela Magana to crown the inaugural XFC Strawweight champion.
