The newest bout added to UFC 165 is in the Bantamweight division and will see Mitch Gagnon (9-2) squaring off with Dustin “The Diamond” Kimura (10-0).
Gagnon debut in the UFC losing to Bryan Caraway by submission at UFC 152. Gagnon would bounce back at UFC 152 scoring his 9th win by submission, with a rear naked choke victory over Walel Watson.
Kimura made his promotional debut at UFC 156 defeating Chico Camus by 3rd round submission. Kimura who trains at Gracie Technics has 9 of 10 wins by stoppage, with 7 of the 9 wins by submission.
UFC takes place on September 21 at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Onraio, Canada; and is headlined by Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson challenging Jon “Bones” Jones for the UFC Light Heavyweight title.
