Ogle Out Holloway Meets McGregor at UFC on Fox Sports 1 1
Andy Ogle (9-2) has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC on Fox Sports 1 1 bout with”Notorious” Conor McGregor (13-2), who will instead battle “Blessed” Max Holloway (7-2).
Andy Ogle was coming off a unanimous decision win over Josh Gripi, in first win in the UFC.
Conor McGregor is riding a 9 fight win streak, that includes a promotional debut TKO win over Marcus Brimage. The TKO was the 8th KO/TKO win, during the 9 fight winning streak.
Max Holloway is coming off a split decision loss to Dernnis Bermudez, that ended a 3 fight winning streak in which Holloway had defeated Pat Schilling, Justin Lawrence and Leonard Garcia.
UFC on Fox Sports 11 takes place on August 17, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts; and is headlined by former UFC and Pride champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen.
