Sosa vs. Espinosa & Torres vs. Marin added to XFC 25: Boiling Point

Two prelims have been added to XFC 25 with at Flyweight Tim Sosa (0-0) battling Jordan Espinosa (2-1) and at Lightweight Joe Torres (1-3) meeting Francisco Marin (0-0).

Tim Sosa is a member of Fit NHB and the former amateur King of the Cage Flyweight champion. Sosa was expected to make his pro debut at King of the Cage- East vs. West on June 22 vs. Curtis Johnson, but Johnson due to his duties as a firefighter had to pull out of the bout at the last minute. Sosa ended his amateur career on a 4 fight win streak, win the last win coming over Brandon Rowland by submission at KOTC- Final Countdown.

Jordan Espinosa of the Demolition Fight Team in Findlay, Ohio, will be making his XFC debut looking to bounce back from his first pro loss to Andrew Cseh by submission. Espinosa started his career off with submission wins over David Virgil and Joshua Killion; after going 2-0 as an amateur.

Joe Torres will be losing to end a 3 fight losing streak last seeing a win over Remin Pineda in 2007. Francisco Marin makes his pro debut after being force to with draw from making that debut at Triple A MMA “Win To Get In”. Marin is a Representative of the Chavez Dojo.

XFC 25: Boiling Point take place on September 6, at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and is headlined byStephanie Eggink vs. Angela Magana for the inaugural XFC Strawweight title.
