Triple A MMA- North vs. South 3 New Fights added
A match-up between men last seen in the boxing ring will take place in the MMA cage with Michael “Coca” Gallegos (0-0) of Lovato Total Fitness vs. Derek Perez (0-0) of Perez Fighting System.
Michael Gallegos as a boxer is (1-11-1). Most recently Gallegos lost a unanimous decision to Brian Romero. “Coca” has been in great battles with the likes of Josh Torres, Cristian Cabral, and former KOTC Champion Donald Sanchez.Derek Perez comes into his MMA debut off of 2, 2nd round TKO losses in the boxing ring to Matthew Baca and Shaun Lee Henson.
Starting on the comeback trail Henry Ramos (0-2) will be stepping back in the cage against a former training partner Josh “Big Country” Lanier (6-7) of Lovatos Total Fitness. Ramos last competed in 2007, 6 years later who knows what kind of fighter well see in action. Lanier the NAGA Heavyweight champion, in MMA is looking to bounce back from a 2nd round TKO loss to Josh Appelt at Bellator 91.
In amateur action Lovatos Total Fitness member Stephen Cervantes (1-0) meets Ozzy Chavez (1-0)a Colorado native. Cervantes defeated Falon Ring by TKO. Chavez also won his amateur debut by TKO defeating Zach Larimore at KOTC- Attrition.
Triple A MMA take place on August 18, at the Crowne Plaza in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is headlined by undefeated Ray Borg facing former King of the Cage Champion “The San-I Warrior” Angelo Sanchez.
