UFC on Fox Sports 1 3 Adds Martins vs. Hernandez
Lucas “Mieiro” Martins (13-1) vs. Ramiro “Junior” Hernandez (13-4) is the newest addition to the UFC on Fox Sports 1 3 card in Brazil.
Lucas Martins entered into the UFC, undefeated before submitting to strikes to fellow countrymen Edson Barboza. Martins bounced back in his second time in the octagon scoring a the 9 knock out win of his career, over Jeremy Larsen.
Ramiro Hernandez has won 6 of his last 7 fights including back to back wins by decision over Kevin Croom and Josh Huber. “Junior” a Miletich Fighting Systems product has 9 win by stoppage; and 5 of them have come by submission.
In other UFC on Fox Sports 1 3 news, the previously announced Bantamweight bout between TJ Dillashaw and Raphael Assuncao has been announced as not happening event due to Assuncao needing to heal an injury. The bout is expect to still happen just at a later date.
UFC on Fox Sports 1 3 takes place on September 4, at the Jornalista Felipe Drumond Stadium in Belo Horiaonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil; and is headlined by Glover Teixeira vs. Ryan “Darth” Bader in a Light Heavyweight showdown.
