Bisping vs. Munoz Headline UFC Fight Night 29

The UFC returns to England on October 26, for UFC Fight Night 29 at the Manchester Evening Arena in Manchester, England. Middleweights take the honor of being in the main event with TUF season 2 winner Michael “The Count” Bisping (24-5) returning to his native country to face fellow top 10 Middleweight, the head coach of Reign MMA Mark “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Munoz (13-3).

Michael Bisping has not fought in his home country his defeating Yoshihiro Akiyama in the headlining bout of UFC 120. Since then Bisping has gone 3-2 with wins over Jason Miller, Brian Stann, and most recently over Alan Belcher; while the loss came by the hands of Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort.

After a 2010 decision loss to Yushin Okami, Mark Munoz won 4 consecutive bouts over Aaron Simpson, CB Dollaway, Demian Maia, and Chris Leben. With a title shot so close he could taste it, Munoz while injured who take on Chris Weidman in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 4. “The Wrecking Machine” would be knocked out in the 2nd round by Weidman. Returning a year later Munoz is coming off a dominate unanimous decision win over Tim Boetsch.
