On Saturday October 12, Kickboxing blows into the windy city for Glory 11- Chicago. This event will be the first televised on Spike TV and in the main event Tyrone “The King of the Ring” Spong (72-6-1) squares off with Nathan Corbett (57-3-1). The bout is a re-match of a 2009 encounter that ended in a no contest.
The co-main event will pit Joe Valtellini (9-1, 8 KO’s) against Karim Ghajji (85-8-1, 49 KO’s). A 4-man Tournament to crown the new Glory Heavyweight champion will also take place, after champion Semmy Shilt retired. The two semifinal match-ups will see Daniel Ghit (57-9, 37 KO’s) vs. Anderson “Braddock” Silva (85-8-1, 49 KO’s) and Rico Verhoven (40-7-1, 8 KO’s) vs. Gokhan Saki (79-16, 56 KO’s).
