The forth bout announced for the first ever Bellator pay per view, is the events third announced title bout. Season 6 tournament winner Daniel Straus (21-4) will challenge Pat “Paddy Mike” Curran (19-4) for the Bellator Featherweight title.

This re-match has been postponed several times due to injuries and legal issues. Curran defeated Straus at XFO 29 in April of 2009 by 2nd round knock out.

Straus last fought at Bellator 78 submitting Alvin Robinson running his current win streak to 5. Straus won the season 6 tournament win unanimous decision wins over Jeremy Spoon, Mike Corey, and Marlon Sandro. Straus has 8 wins by stoppage with 5 of the wins coming by submission.

Curran has won 6 consecutive fights including knocking out Joe Warren to capture the Bellator Featherweight title, getting the decision nod in his defense against Patricio Freire; and most recently submitting Shahbulat Shamhalaev for his 2nd successful defense.

UFC 106 takes place on Saturday, November 2, at the Long Beach Convention Center in California. The line up so far includes a interim Light Heavyweight title bout between King Mo and Emanuel Newton, Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez battle for the Lightweight title for the 2nd time, and in the main event Quintion “Rampage” Jackson faces “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz.
