Lightweight “King” Bobby Green (20-5) and “The” James Krause (20-4) will face off at UFC Fight for the Troops 3.
Since losing to Gesias Cavalcante in his Strikeforce debut, Green has won 5 consecutive fights. Most recently “King” scored his 9th career win by submission, with a rear naked choke victory over Jacob Volkmann at UFC 156.
Krause is coming off of a on short notice promotional submission win over Sam Stout at UFC 161. The win is the 8th in a row for Krause; who has 18 of his 20 win by stoppage with 5 KO/TKO’s and 13 submissions.
UFC Fight for the Troops 3 takes place on November 06, at Fort Campbell, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The main event will see the Middleweight debut of Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida who will battle former member of the US Army Tim Kennedy.
