The main and co-main event for Legacy FC 26 will both be in the Featherweight division, with the already announced main event of Leonard Garcia vs. Kevin Aguilar for the vacant Featherweight title. It now been announced that the co-main event will see Thomas de Almeida (14-0) vs. George Pacurariu (5-2).
Thomas de Almeida comes from Sao Pablo, Brazil, and is a member of the Chute Boxe camp. Almeida has only seen the 2nd round once in his career, most recently scoring a 2nd round TKO over Cemir Silva. Almeida has all 14 his pro wins by stoppage with 4 submissions and 10 KO/TKO’s; and 8 straight wins by KO/TKO.
George Pacurariu comes into this fight on the heels of a TKO doctor stoppage loss to Aaron Ceda at Legacy FC 22. Pacurariu before the loss to Ceda had won 4 straight contests, including his most recent win at Legacy 19 at 1st round KO of Steven Peterson. Pacurariu has split his 4 stoppages in half with 2 submissions and 2 KO/TKO’s.
Legacy FC 26 takes place on December 6 at the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas .
