Mitchell vs. Cabral Completes UFC Fight Night 29 Card
Nor -Cal Fighting Alliance’s David “Daudi” Mitchell (12-3) will meet TUF Brazil season two’s Yan Cabral (10-0), who is a Nova Unioa trained Fighter; in a welterweight match-up at UFCX Fight Night 29.
Mitchell entered the UFC an undefeated 11-0. Since joining the UFC “Daudi” is 1-3 with losses to TJ Waldburger (UD), Paulo Thigo (UD), and Mike Pierce (TKO); while his lone win came over Simeon Thoresen (UD). Mitchell has 9 of his 12 wins by submission.
Yan Cabral has not fought a pro regulated bout since defeating Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 17 in September of 2011. During the 2nd season of TUF Brazil Cabral had his hand raised in victory twice before a broke hand forced him out of the competition. Cabral has all 10 of his win by submmisson.
UFC Fight Night 29 takes place on October 9, in Brazil.
