Sinclair, Triloni, Clementi, Held, Heleay, & Kongo vs. Godbeer at Bellator 101

The Bellator debut of England Rob “C4” Sinclair (12-2) was scheduled for Bellator 101 against Rick “No Love” Clementi (45-22-1) in a Lightweight tournament quarterfinal, but those plans have changed due a knee injury.

Clementi will now instead take on Ricaro Tirloni (15-4) who is begin brought up from the prelims, where he was to face Marcin Held (15-3). Held will remain on the card and will welcome on short notice Ryan Healy (23-12) to Bellator.

The main event for Bellator 101 has also been announced with Cheick Kongo meeting Mark Godbeer in a Heavyweight tournament semifinal.

Sinclair has won 5 fights in a row, including most recently getting the nod in a split decision bout with Andre Winner; at BAMMA10.

Clementi retired last November after a tournament semifinal submission loss to Marcin Held. Now healthy Clementi is back to make one last run again.

Tirloni is coming off back to back losses to Dave Jansen and Will Brooks.

Held at Bellator 93 lost to Dave Jansen in the season 8 tournament finals, ending a 5 fight winning streak.

Healy 3-2 in his last 5 fights, makes his Bellator debut after not having fought since a decision loss Jesse Ronson in November.

Kongo comes into his promotional debut looking to bounce back from a UFC 159 knockout loss to Roy Nelson.

Godbeer after his first professional loss to Anthony Taylor, most recently got back in the winners column with a TKO victory over Catalin Zmarandescu at BAMMA 9.

Bellator 101 take place at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, on September 27.
