UFC Fight Night 30- Njokuani vs. Taylor Turns into Hallman vs. Iaquinta

After seeing his original opponent Paul Taylor, due to injury be replaced by Al Iaquinta (6-2-1), Anthony Njokuani (16-7) himself has been forced to with draw from the scheduled Lightweight contest at UFC Fight Night30. Replacing “The Assassin” will be Pitro Hallman (14-1).

Njokuani had been scheduled to face Taylor on 3 different occasions with each time Taylor withdrawing due to injury. After this last withdrawal Paul announced his retirement due to nagging injuries.

Njokuani is coming off of a knockout of Roger Bowling at UFC on Fox 7.

The Serra-Longo trained Iaquinta, who was a TUF 15 finalist; will be looking to build off his UFC 164 unanimous decision win over Ryan Couture.

A native of Poland Hallman in his UFC debut showed hart and tenacity in a come from behind submission win over Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt.

UFC Fight Night 30 takes place on October 26, at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
