3 bouts added to Bellator: Rampage vs. Ortiz

Bellator MMA have recently announced 3 more additions to the November 2 Rampage vs. Ortiz pay per view event with the season 9 Heavyweight tournament Finals of Cheick Kongo (19-8-2) vs. Vinicius “Spartan” Queiroz (7-3) making it’s way on to the main card.

In the season 9 4 Heavyweight Tournament, Kongo stopped Mark Godbeer with knees and punches, while “Spartan” used one well place right to KO Lavar Johnson in the semifinals.

The Spike TV prelims have added a Featherweight contest with season 8 tournament finalist Mike “The Marine” Richman (15-3) vs. fellow tournament vet Akop “Sniper” Stepanyan (13-6). Richman is coming off a losing to Magomedrasul “Fredo” Khasbulaev by unanimous decision in the season 8 tournament finals. Setpanyan is coming off being the victim of a come from behind subission win by Justin Wilcox in the season 9 tournament quarterfinals.

The final addition to the card which will also be a Spike TV prelim is at Welterweight, pitting Karo Parisyan (22-10) vs. Cristiano “Soldier Boy” Souza (6-0). Parisyan is coming off a KO loss to Rick Hawn which halted a 2 fight winning streak. Souza a American Top Team product has defeated John Kelly (UD) and Robert Otani (KO) since joining Bellator.

Bellator: Rampage vs. Ortiz takes place on November 2 at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach , California. The main event will see a class of Light Heavyweight MMA legends with Tito “The People’s Champion” Oriz against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
