Bamma 14 Daley vs. Da Silva, 3 Titles on the Line, & More

The British Association of Mixed martial Arts (BAMMA) will present their 14th event with Paul “Semtex” Daley (33-12-2) vs. Romario Manoel Da Silva (23-11-1) as the main event on December 14 at the LG Arena in Birmingham, West Midlands, England.

Daley since a 2 fight losing stint in Strikeforce has gone 6-1 with a current 4 fight win streak; including his most recent win a TKO doctor’s stoppage of Lukasz Chlewicki at CWFC 57. Da Silva just 3 days ago suffered a submission loss to Valdir Araujo, in a CFA Welterweight title bout; that snapped a 2 fight winning streak.

Mansour Barnaoui (10-2) will make his first Lightweight title defense against TUF Smashes finalist “The Freak Show” Colin Fletcher (9-3). Baranoui won the title with a first round TKO of UFC vet Curt Warburton. Fletcher snapped a 2 fight losing streak at BAMMA 13 with a unanimous decision win over Tim Newman.

Undefeated and defending the BAMMA Middleweight Title is what Scott Askham (11-0) will do when he meets Ion Pascu (7-3). Askham has 6 of 8 stoppage wins by KO/TKO. Askham defeated Jorge Bezerra by unanimous decision to win the belt. Pascu has won 3 fights in a row including most recently knocking out Jack Marshman in the 1st round, at BAMMA 13.

The Welterweight title will be up for grabs with Wayne “Mayhem” Murrie (16-5-1) vs. Michael Johnson (9-5). Murrie will be looking to erase the memory of his 2nd round TKO loss to Arni Isaksson which snapped a 4 fight winning streak. Johnson has won 4 fights in a row over Jacob Lewis Williams (TKO), Paul Cook (UD), Paul Rocha (TKO), and Jerome Martinez (UD)

Building off consecutive wins over Jonathan Bilton (TKO) and Adam Boussif (SUB) Leon Edwards (4-1) will square off with Wendle “Nice Guy” Lewis (6-1) who has all of his wins by KO/TKO.
