Leites Replace Natal, vs. Herman at UFC 167
Thales Leites (21-4) has been named as the replacement for Rafael Natal, against Ed “Short Fuse” Herman (21-9) at UFC 167.
Natal was removed from the bout after accepting to replace Lyoto Machida against Tim Kennedy in the UFC Fight Night 31 main event, after Machida was tabbed as the UFC Fight Night 30 replacement for Michael Bisping against Mark Munoz; after Bisping was forced to withdraw with an eye injury.
After 4 years outside the UFC Leites returned to the octagon at UFC 163 scoring a unanimous decision win over Tom Watson.
Herman was last in action at UFC on Fox 8 winning the fight of the night award winning fight by split decision over Trevor Smith.
UFC 167 takes place on November 6, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada; and is headlined by Johny Hendricks challenging Georges St. Pierre for the UFC Welterweight title.
