A Bantamweight showdown featuring TUF 12 alum Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres (9-5) against Canadian submission specialist Mitch Gagnon (10-2) is the newest addition to the UFC Fight Night 33 event.
Caceres is undefeated in his last bouts having submitted Damico Page, while getting split decision wins over Motonobu Tezuka and Roland Delorme; also in that time Caceres had a win over Kyung Ho Kang overturned to a no contest after “Bruce Leeroy” tested positive for Marijuana.
Since a promotional debut submission loss to Bryan Caraway, Gagnon has bounced back submitting Walel Watson and Dustin Kimura, both by chokes.
UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 7th at the Queensland Capital at Birsbane Entertainment Centre, in Australia; and is headlined by Mark “The Super Saoman” Hunt vs. Antoniio “Big Foot” Silva in a Hevayweight clash.
