Derek Brunson (11-2) and Yoel Romero (6-1) are both on 2 fight winning streak, with Brunson having defeated Chris Leben (UD) and Brian Houston (SUB); while Romero has knocked out Clifford Starks and Ronny Markes.
Vinc Pichel (7-1) will be returning to action 14 months after being suplexed around the octagon by Rutam Khabilov; to face Garett Whiteley (7-1) who is coming off of a debut TKO loss to Alan Alves at UFC Fight Night 29.
UFC Fight Night 35 takes place on January 15 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia; headlined by Former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold against heavy handed Constantinos Philippou.
