Carmont Meets Jacare At UFC Fight Night 36
The co-main event for UFC Fight Night 36 will be a contest between top 10 Middleweights Francis “Limitless” Carmont (22-7) and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (19-3).
Tristar Gym’s Carmont,has won 11 fights in a row. “Limitless” is a perfect 6-0 in the UFC including 3 straight unanimous decision wins over Tom Lawlor, Lorenz Larkin, and Costas Philippou.
Souza since losing the Strikeforce Middleweight title to Luke Rockhold has won 5 fights in row, including UFC wins over Chris Camozzi (SUB) and Yushin Okami (TKO).
UFC Fight Night 35 originally was announced to take place on February 8, but that date has been changed to February 15; at the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil. The main event will see Lyoto Machida vs. Gegard Mousasi.
