Perez was looking forward to the great opportunity to show the growth in his striking against one of the top Flyweight in the southwest in Nick Urso. Perez suspension run till December 6, and to compete at the December 6, event Perez would need to be licensed at the weigh-in on December 5.

Sources close to the promotion have told Caged Minds that El Paseo based fighter Jesus Urbina (2-1) has been tabbed as the replacement for Perez. Urbina has defeated Alan Lerma (SUB) and Kashiff Solarin (UD), since a pro debut loss to Adrian Cruz (UD).

Urso is currently on a 5 fight winning streak, that includes most recently defeating Ronnie White by 1st round TKO.
