On Short Notice Lovato Makes Pro debut vs. Magdaleno
Judgement MMA’s Amanda Lovato will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to make her pro debut on 8 days notice against fellow debut-er Raquel “Rocky” Magdaleno; as part of the January 31, NAFC- Super Brawl at the Eagles Club Grand Ballroom.
Lovato had expected to make her pro debut at the January 17, Rocktagon 30 event, but after making weight her opponent Jessica Kennett failed to do the same weighing in at 123.5 lbs. for a Straweight (115 lbs.) bout. This forced the athletic commission to cancel the bout.
Lovato ended her amateur career 3-1, with consecutive wins in the King of the Cage organization over Amanda Estrella (TKO) and Melody Nanez (UD).
Magdaleno a Rousfusport fighter who will have the baking of her home town crowd, also ended her amateur career 3-1. After a split decision loss to Stephanie Alba, “Rocky” rebounded to end time as an amateur with a TKO of Kyna Sisson.
