A pair of MMA vets, both with more then 30 fights experience have agreed to meet at WSOF 9; as Josh “The People’s Warrior” Burkman (26-10) takes on Tyler “The Evolution” Stinson (27-9).
Burkman who trains at The Pit Elevated, will look to rebound from a submission loss to Steve Carl in the inaugural WSOF Welterweight title bout; which ended a 5 fight winning streak. Burkman last 2 wins have been stoppages of UFC vets Jon Fithc (SUB) and Aaron Simpson (TKO).
Stinson since back to back decision losses in Strikeforce to Tarec Saffiedine and Jordan Mein, has won 4 fights in a row all by (T)KO ; including a promotional debut TKO of Valdir Araujo.
WSOF 9 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, takes place on March 29; headlined by Rousimar Palhares challenging Steve Carl for the WSOF Welterweight title.
