At Triple A MMA V: Redemption at the Rock, Josh “Big Country” Lanier (Lanier Hybrid Jiu Jitsu) will take on Quinn Mulhern (Gracie Barra Santa Fe), in a 10 minute No-Gi, win by submission only, grappling match. Both Lanier and Mulhern recently have stepped away from active MMA competition, but we talk about how this contest has gotten those competitive juices following again. “Big Country” also talks with us about the growth of Jiu Jitsu and what’s the differences between Brazilian Jiu Jitsu compared to Lanier Hybrid Jiu Jitsu. We also get deep as we learn about Lanier’s path of learning Jiu Jitsu and his love of the sport.
