The fight card has been filling fast and now the main event has been announced. Native Ohioan the relentless Matt “The Immortal” Brown (18-11) will headline UFC Fight Night Cincinnati, against explosive Brazilian Erick Silva (16-4), on May 10th, at the US Bank Arena.

Brown has won 6 fights in a row with 5 knock outs defeating Chris Cope (TKO), Stephen Thompson (UD), Luis Ramos (TKO), Mike Swick (KO), Jordan Mein (TKO), and Mike Pyle (KO). Before the win streak Brown was 1-4 in his last 5 fights and overall was (12-11).

Silva is 4-3 in 7 UFC bouts having submitted Charlie Brenneman (rear naked choke)and Jason High (reverse triangle armbar), knocking out Luis Ramos and Takenori Sato; with a disqualification loss to Carlo Prater, decision loss to Jon Fitch, and being knocked out by Dong Hyun Kim. All 4 of Silva octagon victories have come in round 1.
