Middleweight knock out artists Lorenz “The Monsoon” Larkin (14-2-0-1, nc) and Costas Philippou (12-4-0-1, nc) will collide at UFC Fight Night Cincinnati, on May 10 at the US Bank Arena.
Larkin is 2-2 in his last 4 fights and just 1-2 inside the octagon. All 3 of Larkin’s UFC bout have went to the decision with loss to Francis Carmont and Brad Tavares sandwiching a win over Chris Camozzi. Starting off his career “The Monsoon” won 8 of his first 10 by knock out.
Phillippou who lost his on short notice promotional debut to Nick Catone. Would then run off 5 straight wins,defeating Jorge Rivera (SD), Jared Hamman (KO), Court Mcgee (UD), Riki Fykuda (UD), Tim Boetsch. Now two fights later Phillippou will look to rebound from back to back losses to Francis Carmont (UD) and Luke Rockhold (KO).
