Bout number 1: Jesse Tafoya (0-0) vs. Alfonso Vargas (0-0) – Flyweight
Rd1- Vargas took down Tafoya. Tafoya slaps in an armbar and after 2 minutes of struggle the tap comes.
Result- Jesse Tafoya by Submission (armbar) at 2:30 of round 1
Bout number 2: Mike Benefiel (0-0) vs. Jose Cueto (3-0) – Welterweight
Rd1- Benefeil takes down and rides Cueto for the hole round with ground and pound.
Rd2- Both men landing while on the feet. Benefeil lands a low blow. Action restarts Benefiel takes Cueto down and survives an armabar attempt
Rd3- Benefiel rushes in with punches and slams Cueto to the ground. Benefiel on top in guard working ground and pound while Cueto works for an armbar. Benefiel passes to side control landing elbows.
Result- Mike Benefiel by (29-28) (30-27) (29-28) unanimous decision
Bout number 3: Jesse Sandoval (1-3) vs. Terrence Shields (0-0) – Bantamweight
Rd1- 20 seconds into the round Shields takes Sandoval down and he pops right back up. Heavy leather thrown in the clinch drops Shields, Sandoval follows to the ground. They get back up Sandoval with knees and punches from the clinch with strikes forces a standing TKO stoppage.
Result- Jesse Sandoval by TKO (punches & knees) at 2:24 of round 1
Bout number 4: Ricky Garcia (3-0) vs. Hunter Tower (1-0) – Lightweight
Rd1- Opening minute Tower tags Garcia with a right then a left perfectly on the chin they clinch Tower lands a trip in a scramble takes the back and sinks in the choke for the tap.
Result- Hunter Tower by Submission (rear naked choke) at 1:37 of round 1

Bout number 5: Lenny Lovato (8-2) vs. Kamaru Usman (3-1) – Catchweight
Rd1- Lovato shoot s for a single leg Usman defends Lovato follow with a knee to the gut. Usman just misses Lovato up a big upper cut. Usman lands with a left hook backing Lovato to the cage. Usman clinches and they are separated after Lovato lands a low knee. They restart Lovato lands with an over hand right Usman clinches lands some big knees and pushes Lovato back t the cage. Usman peppers away with short knees in they clinch as the round ends
Rd2- After a blocked high kick from Lovato, Usman lands to the chin with a jab and pressures Lovato back to the cage blasting knees from the thia clinch. Changing levels in the blink of an eye Usman scores a double leg take down and takes the back of Lovato who fights off the choke scrambles back to his feet and lands a straight left before Usman clinches against the cage. They are restarted in the center and Usman drops down landing a single leg take down. Usman in half guard is dropping huge elbows an hammer fists.
Rd3- Usman Charges in on Lovato clinching against the cage. Usman scores a take down and from the standing guard drops bombs forcing the ref to stop the bout.
Result- Kamaru Usman by TKO (punches) at 1:04 of round 3
Bout number 6: Clint Roberts (4-1) vs. Martin Sano (3-0) – Welterweight
Rd1- Both men come out aggressive Roberts lands 4 hard kicks to the body. Sano touches Roberts with a left they clinch exchange knees and Roberts takes down Sano. The ref stands them back up Sano clinches and forces Roberts back to the cage. Roberts breaks free steps in range to strike and is back in the clinch. From the clinch Roberts fires with knees Sano answers with elbows. Roberts returns fire with punches and kicks. Sano lands a left that staggers Roberts as the round ends.
Rd2- Right out the gate Sano lands a pair of lefts to the chin of Roberts who pushes forward lands a trip and works some ground and pound till Sano scrambles to the cage and then back to his feet. Roberts lands with a left, right , kick. Roberts throws a head kick the Sano catches forces Roberts to the ground takes his back and sinks in the choke for the win.
Result- Martin Sano by Submission (rear naked choke) at 1:52 of round 2
Bout number 7: Adrian Cruz (5-1) vs. Henry Briones (13-4) – Bantamweight
Rd1- Cruz blitz in with punches trips and Briones takes Cruz’s back. Cruz sweeps and is on top in Briones guard. Cruz passes to half guard. Briones pushes off and stands back up. Briones using right low leg kicks attack the lead leg of Cruz. Cruz charges in for a take down eats a knee and scores the take down. Briones pops right back to his feet. After a scramble Cruz scores another take down ends the round on top.
Rd2- Cruz is landing with straight punches. Briones connects with a hard body kick that momentarily drops Cruz to a knee. Cruz pops right back to his feet and again Blitz’s in with a straight punches looking for a single leg take down. Briones stuffs the shot and rolls Cruz to his back. The action is stopped and Briones is deducted a point for illegal blow to the back of the head. Restarted on the feet Cruz with a body lock is pushing Briones around the cage. A left body kick from Briones put Cruz on his but. Briones follows to the ground in half guard
Rd3- Briones with his striking pressures Cruz to the cage. Both men in close quarters land. Cruz throw winging right and trips. Briones jumps on top into mount and is working ground and pound. Cruz is able to regain half guard but Briones is still landing from top position. Controlling the fight from the top or the majority of the round.
Result- Majority Draw (29-27) (28-29) (28-28)
Bout number 8: Nick Urso (7-1) vs. Ray Borg (5-0) – Flyweight
Rd1- Both men come out looking to establish there distance. Urso paws out a jab. Borg shots for a take down momentarily gets it. Urso uses left uppercuts to back off Borg. Borg reenters scores a take down and Urso sweeps to gain top position. Borg sweeps is on top. Urso fight back to his feet. Urso clinches Borg and scores a take down of his own Borg scrambles back to his feet and puts Urso back on the mat. Trying to get back to his feet Borg takes Urso’s back .
Rd2- Borg is first to come forward landing a teap kick. Urso takes control moving forward. Off a missed punch Borg ducks under scoring a take down. Borg looks for a guillotine choke but that allows Urso to get back to a standing base. Borg use’s a front head lock to drag Urso back to the mat. Borg on top moves to mount and between dropping elbow and looking for a rear naked choke in a half mount Borg locks in the RNC for the tap.

Bout number 9: Donald Sanchez (29-13) vs. Flavio Alvaro (45-10) – Featherweight
Rd1- Sanchez opens with the jab and Alvaro counters with leg kicks. Alvaro grabs the Thia clinch an Sanchez backs off the Brazilian with hooks to 4 hooks to the head. Alvaro closes the distance shoots in and completes a take down. Alvaro pins Sanchez against the cage, both fighters exchanged elbows and knees. Alvaro goes for a take down Sanchez side steps follows a falling Alvaro to the ground and is swpet. Alvaro ends the round on top.
Rd2- Left hooks from both fighters land. Alvaro is pressuring a circling Sanchez. Sanchez stops moving his feet to load up on a punch and Alvaro shoots under lifting Sanchez by the double leg walk across the cage to slam Sanchez in Alvaro’s corner. Alvaro in side control is looking to land as Sanchez tries to stand Alvaro takes the back. Sanchez fights off the choke and is able to turn into Alvaro’s guard. Sanchez ends the round on top trying for a choke.
Rd3- Sanchez catches a Alvaro kick and lands a right hand to start the round. Sanchez lands a right to the face, left to the body, and another left to the face. Sanchez walks right into a Alvaro left. Alvaro pressures Sanchez to the cage and clinches for a take down. Sanchez defends. A straight left back off Alvaro. Both men land in a wild exchange. Alvaro scores a double keg by the fence. Sanchez battles back to his feet before taking any damage. Sanchez lands a combination and the round ends with Alvaro looking for a take down.

Bout number 10: Holly Holm (6-0) vs. Juliana Werner (7-3) – Women’s Bantamweight Title
Rd1- Werner is first to strike landing an inside leg kick. Holm answers back with a low side kick. Werner takes a strong Holm body kick off the arms and follows it with a side kick to the gut. Werner battles to the inside garbing the Thia clinch. Holm fights out of it with punches to the head. Holm is making use of a Jab followed by side kick to the body. Werner grabs the Thia clinch. Holm pushes her back to the cage controlling the battle for position.
Rd2- Both women come out working their kick game. Holm follows the kicks with stinging punches that are backing Werner off the exchanges. Holm with a head kick left combo stuns Werner. Holm goes high with the kick again even blocked it moves Werner back. The kicks of Holm’s are turning Werner mid-section red. Werner starts to get aggressive moving forward but is falling to connect.
Rd3- Holm is picking apart Werner with combinations an mixing up her attacks from a straight right hand too low sweeping heel kicks. Right hook opens the nose of Werner. Werner showing toughness isn’t backing down. Holm catches a Werner body kick and throws Werner to the ground. Right hands landed y Holm end the round.
Rd4- Holm starts off the round again working the side kick to the body. Holm lands with straight right to the ace of Werner who is just short on her counters. Holm catches a Werner kick for the second time but this time Werner defends the take down. Holm for the 2nd time in the round catches a kick this time putting Werner on her but. Avoiding up kicks Holm lands 2 punches from on top as the round ends.
Rd5- A 4 punch combination followed by a teep kick is how Holm starts off the round. A clean right hand touches Werner who to the cage. They clinch. The ref restarts the action in the center. Holm blitz’s Werner catching her with a right high kick putting Werner on the ground. Holm follows Werner an ends the bout with a flurry of punches.
Result- Holly Holm by TKO (kick & punches) at 1:50 of round 5

Bout number 11: Denton Comyford (0-0) vs. Stacy Cly (0-0) – Welterweight
Rd1- The taller longer Comyford bust open Cly in the opening minutes. They clinch Cly scores the take down right into armbar for the tap.

Bout number 12: Gene Perez (3-6) vs. Mikey Lovato (10-3) – Flyweight
Rd1- Loavto misses with a high kick. Perez reaches with the jab. Lovato gets the clinch against the fence. Perez tries to fight off the take down with hammer fists and elbows. Lovato takes Perez down. The action is stopped as a cut above the left eye on Lovato’s has opened. Lovato takes Perez down as the action restarts. Perez gets back to his feet the round ends with Perez looking for a take down.
Rd2- Lovato comes out and takes Perez down. Lovato on top moves from guard to half guard and as Perez tries to scramble, Lovato takes the back. Perez hand fights and explodes back to his feet. Perez clinches putting Lovato against the cage landing a few short punches and knees to the body.
Rd3- Lovato shoots the single and even eating eating a bunch of hammer fist completes the take down. Perez gets back to his feet off an armbar attempt. Perez shoots for the take down and is stuffed by Lovato against the fence. Lovato shoots scores a take down and ends the bout on top.
Result- Gene Perez by (29-28) (29-28) (29-28) unanimous decision
