The 1st bout has been made official for UFC Fight Night Atlantic City taking place on July 16th, at the Revel Casino Hotel in At;antic City, New Jersey, and that bout will be in the Bantamweight division with Aljamain Sterling (9-0) taking on Hugo “Wolverine” Viana (8-1).
Sterling a member of the Serrra- Longo Fight Team is coming off a promotional debut unanimous deciison win over Cody Gibson at UFC 170. Sterling has 4 of 5 stoppage wins by submission, with all 4 submissions coming by rear naked choke.
TUF Brazil season 1 alum Viana bounced back from his 1st career loss, a TKO to TJ Dillashaw, with a unanimous decision over Ramiro Hernandez. Also in side the octagon “Wolverine” holds a decision win over John Teixeira and has knocked out Reuben Duran.
