TRIPLE A MMA VI: MIDLAND MASSACRE, Headlined by Luna vs Villa 5 Other Match Ups also Official
As was announced following Triple A MMA: Redemption at the Rock, the next Triple A MMA event will be on May 24th at the Midland Events Center. “Midland” Massacre will be headlined by Luis Luna (9-4) against Richard Villa (4-2).
Midland’s own Luna is coming off consecutive wins over Justin Reiswerg (UD) and Ryan Schultz (TKO). Luna has won 5 of his last 7 fights and has 6 wins by stoppage, with 50% submissions and (T)KO.
Villa who hails from Roswell, New Mexico, only officially has 6 fights, really has more like 13 (8-5) if not more under his belt. Villa most naturally is a Featherweight or like this bout will be a Lightweight, but had fought as big as Middleweight. Villa is coming off the biggest win of his career submitting Gabriel Benitez with a heel hook at Jackson’s MMA Series 11. Unofficially Villa has all (8) wins by stoppage with 3 (T)KO and 5 submissions.
In the co-main event Luttrell’s MMA’s Andres “The Bullet” Quintana (6-1), coming off a 1st round submission by strikes win over Derek Perez in the co-main event Triple A MMA: Redemption at the Rock, faces Eagles-nest MMA’s Javier Minjarez who is (1-1) as a pro after a 4-2 amateur run. Minjarez is coming off a Legacy 22 split decision win over Santana Martinez.
