UFC Fight Night Albuquerque adds Dos Anjos vs. High

Jason High (18-4) will drop from Welterweight to Lightweight, starting at UFC Fight Night Albuquerque and his first opponent will be UFC number 8 ranked Lightweight Rafael Dos Anjos (20-7).

Many fighter make the weight class change coming off a loss, but High has won 2 in a row and 9 of his last 10 fights. High was last scheduled to fight at UFC Fight Night Rockhold vs. Phillipou, but was unable to due to appendicitis. High has 8 of 11 stoppage wins by submission.

Dos Anjos is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov that ended a 5 fight win streak; that saw Dos Anjos collect wins over Kamal Shalorus (SUB), Anthony Njokuani (UD), Mark Bocek (UD), Evan Dunham (UD), and Donald Cerrone (UD).

UFC Fight Night Albuquerque takes place on June 7th at Tingley Coliseum, in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and is headlined by Benson “Smooth” Henderson vs. Rustam “Tiger” Khabilov.
