Bellator 120’s Freire vs. Held Canceled
Patricky “Pitbull” Freire has suffered a hand injury during training that will force the cancellation of his Bellator 120 season 10 Lightweight tournament finals bout with Marcin Held.
A bout between Featherweight tournament vets Fabricio Guerreiro (19-3) and Shahbulat Shamhalaev (12-1-1) will fill the void on the Spike TV preliminary portion.
Guerreiro has not fought since a unanimous decision loss to Patricio Freir in the season 9 Featherweight tournament semifinals.
Shamhalaev a former tournament winner will be back in action for the 1st time since being submitted by Pat Curran in a failed attempt to dethrone the Bellator Featherweight king.
Bellator 120 is on Saturday May 17 at the Landers Center in Southhaven Mississippi.
