Caceres vs. Faber added to UFC 175
A Bantamweight battle has been added to UFC 175 pitting Team Alpha Male leader “The California Kid” Urijah Faber (30-7) against TUF 12 alum Alex “Bruce LeRoy” Caceres (10-5-0, 1nc).
Faber is coming off a second title bout loss to Renan Barao. This most recent loss ended a 4 win streak.“The California Kid” a former WEC Featherweight champion is 6-3 since the merger with the UFC.
Caceres, who will be facing his toughest test, is undefeated in his last 5 fights with wins over Damacio Page (SUB), Motonoby Tezuka (SD), Roland Delorme (SD), and Sergio Pettis (SUB); while the 5th bout is a win over Kyung Ho Kang that due to a faild drug test was changed to a no contest.
UFC 175 is on July 5 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is headlined by Lyoto Machida challenging Chris Weidman for the UFC Middleweight title.
