Brazilan Demian Maia (18-6) has been will welcome fellow Welterweight Alexander “Bad Boy” Yakovlev (21-3-1) of Russia, to the octagon on May 31; at the TUF Brazil season 3 Finale.
Yakovkev has won three straight decisions over Murad Abdulaev, Reinaldo da Silva, and most recently over Paul Daley. The “Bad Boy” has 16 stoppages with 8 each submissions and (T)KO.
Following a 3 fight winning streak to start his stint at Welterweight after 19 fights at Middleweight , Maia will be looking to rebound from decision losses to Jake Shields and Rory MacDonald.
