The card for the UFC’s first trip to New Zealand is starting to come together with this weeks announcement of 4 new addition including a Light Heavyweight bout between Anthony “The Hippo” Perosh (14-8) and Gian Villante (11-5).
Perosh will be looking to rebound from a decision loss to Ryan Bader, while Villante is coming off a decision loss to Fabio Maldonado.
Coming off consecutive losses to Court McGee (SD) and Stephen Thompson (TKO), Robert Whittaker (11-4) faces Mike Rhodes (6-2), who is coming off a promotional debut decision loss George Sullivan.
At Flyweight Jon Delos Reyes (7-3) meets Richie Vaculik (9-2) and Vik Grujic (6-3) takes on fellow Welterweight and TUF Nation alum Chris Indich (5-2).
UFC Fight Night Auckland in New Zealand on June 28 at the Arena in Auckland is headlined by Nate Matquardt vs. James Te Huna; and the hole event will be braodcasted on Fight Pass.
