A pair of Women’s bouts including a first ever, has been announced for UFC Fight Night Cerrone vs. Miller.In the 135 lbs. division Jessmyn Duke (3-1) will look to get back in the win column, coming off a decision loss to Bethe Correia,when she meets Leslie Smith (6-5-1) who is a former Invicta title challenger, 4-time Invicta Fight of the Night award winnero, and is coming off a 2nd decision loss to Sarah Kaufman.
The first official UFC Women’s Strawwieght bout will see Claudia Gadelha (11-0) squaring off against Tina Lahdemaki (5-0). Gadelha a Invicta FC vet and member of Nova Uniao, had been expected to compete in the upcoming TUF season 20, but declined from doing the show after deciding it would be to hard to make weight on several ocassions in a short amount of time. Gadelha last fought and defeated Ayaka Hamasaki by 3rd round TKO. Lahdemaki who has 3 of 5 wins by stoppage and will making her 115 lbs. Debut after havng fought at 125 lbs.
UFC Fight Night Cerrone vs. MIller is on July 16 at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantqic City, New Jersey.
