The count down is at 3 days till King of the Cage “Rise” at the Las Cruces Convention Center, in New Mexico, where John “Rock’em Sock’em” Rozema will square off with fellow undefeated 145 pound-er Adam McGurk. I was able to catch up with Rozema, who has never seen a decision, at his home base of Judgement MMA in Rio Rancho, New Mexico; to talk about what’s going to happen when a striker who has all his amateur and pro wins by (T)KO meets a grappler with consecutive submission wins.
Rozema also reflects on his bout with Brain Castillo that was originally called a TKO win for Castillo, that was rightfully changed to a no contest; and what it took to get the outcome overturned.
