Triple A MMA will be returning to the Camel Rock on September 27th for Triple A MMA IX: Rock Solid. Already on the card is two bouts that had been canceled from previous Triple A MMA events.
The nights main event will see the main event that had been announced for Triple A MMA VII: Rock Stars, with Natalie Roy (2-0) vs. Nohime Dennison (1-1); a bout that Dennison had to withdraw from due to a suspension from the New York Athletic Commission from a Boxing match earlier in the same month. Roy at Triple A MMA VII: Rock Stars took on and TKO”ed short notice replacement Brittany Horton in 32 seconds. Dennison has not competed in MMA since a 2011 unanimous decision win over Lynae Lovato. Dennison has kept busy being in the boxing ring going 1-2-1 in 4 fight over the last 3 years.
The co-main event rescheduled from the canceled Triple A MMA VI: Midland Massacre event, pits Andres “The Bullet” Quintana (7-1) against fellow Featherweight Javier Minjarez (4-2). Quintana has won 7 fights in a row all by (T)KO, including a 1st round TKO of Derek Perez at Triple A MMA V: Redemption at the Rock. Minjarez has 2 win by (T)KO and 2 by decision,4 coming off a decision loss to Jarrett Rouse, that ended a 3 fight win streak.
