Joby Sanchez Meets Antonio Banuelos at TPF 20, August 8

Undefeated Flyweight prospect Joby Sanchez (5-0) who has trained at the Chavez Dojo and Jackson’s MMA was unable to compete at Triple A MMA VIII: Rival, but he’s found a fight that will pit him against his most experienced for to date.

Sanchez faces WEC vet Antonio Banuelos (20-10-1) on August 8, at Tachi Fight Palace 20 in Lemoore, California.

Sanchez an XFC contract winner, who has 3 of his 5 wins by submission, has not fought since a XFC 25: Boiling Points, 1st round TKO of Eric Moell; from September of 2013.

Banuelos is 0-3-1 in his last 4 with losses to top competition One FC champion Bibano Fernandes (TKO), and curent UFC fighter Josh Sampo (UD) and Alptekin Ozkilic (TKO). The draw came at Legacy 18 against, it’s a small world, Sanchez’s Jiu Jitsu instructor Rafael de Freitas
