Legacy 37 Main Event Leonard Garcia vs. Daniel Pineda
The main event of November 14th’s, Legacy 37 at Houston’s Arena will see a clash of former Featherweight champions.
Jackons- Winklejohn’s fighter Leonard “Bad Boy” Garcia (18-12-1) will clash with 4oz Fight Clubs Daniel “The Pit” Pineda (18-11).
Garcia in 2013 after a 5 fight losing streak was released from the UFC. The brawling fan favorite then singed with Legacy FC and proceeded to win 3 straight bouts over Rey Trujillo (KO), Nick Gonzalez (SUB), and Kevin Aguilar (TKO) capturing the Legacy 145 title. Garcia is now once again looking to bounce back after losing the Legacy Featherweight title after being submitted by Damon Jackson in under 2 minutes.
Pineda a former Legacy Lightweight and Featherweight champion last fought for the promotion in December of 2013, before moving on to the UFC. Pineda came out the gates fast in the octagon submitting Pat Schiling and Mackens Semerzier in the first round. Following losses in 4 of his next 5, “The Pit” and the UFC parted ways.
