“Rumble at the Ranch” Adds Chavez vs. Skinner & Jackson vs. Lovato

Coming off a one of a kind event on July 18th, Combat Xtreme is working hard to make it up to fight fans on September 20th. Rumble at the Ranch will be place in Los Lunas ad is going to be a combination MMA and bull riding event. According to promoter Joey Garcia  in a women’s feature fight that was originally scheduled for XFC 25, the “South Valley’s Own” Angelica Chavez (4-2) of the Chavez Dojo is again set to square off with Wyoming’s Stephanie “The Scrapper” Skinner (2-5) and at Welterweight Luttrell’s MMA’s Maurice “The Hulk” Jackson (2-1) is going to face Lovato’s Total Fitness’s Lenny “The Godfather” Lovato Jr. (8-3).

Chavez has not fought since July of 2013 with a couple of fight falling through for different reasons. The bout with Skinner was canceled the first time because of Chavez falling ill. Chavez started off her career 4-0 but has since dropped back to back decision losses to Diana Rael and Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc.

Skinner started off her career totally opposite from Chavez going 0-3. “The Scrapper” has both of her pro wins by TKO, but is coming off a TKO loss to Angela Hill.

Jackson who is from Illinois moved to New Mexico to grow his fight career, but since being out here has had a hard time of finding opponents, who follow through on a signed contract. Twice in a row now Jackson has been stood up once by Mark Lujan at Triple A MMA VII: Rock Stars weigh-ins and also by Manuel Ramirez who showed to the weigh-ins, checked in to the venue on fight night; but then up and ran away prior to fight time.

Lovato started off his MMA career with 8 consecutive wins. After his first pro loss in 2010 “The Godfather” stepped away from the fight game to take care of his family. Since getting back to action Lovato has suffered a KO loss to Blas Avena at Bellator 91 and a TKO loss to Kamarudeen Usman at Legacy 30.
