The UFC debut of multiple time world boxing champion Holly Holm has been delayed, due to a neck injury.

Holm was expecting to make her octagon debut on December 6th, at UFC 181 against TUF 16 alum Raquel Pennington. Holm last fought at Legacy FC 30, in April of 2014, defeating Juilana Werner; to capture the inaugural Legacy Woman’s Bantamweight Title.

It’s expected that Pennington will remain on the card, as a replacement opponent search is underway.

The injury news doesn’t end there as Jon Villante has been forced to withdraw from facing TUF 19 winner Corey Anderson, with an undisclosed injury.

UFC 181 take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada; and is headlined by Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler II.
