At UFC 184 Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto (18-6-0, 1nc) will return to action after 3 year hiatus.
Welcoming Yamamoto back to the octagon will be Roman Salazar (9-3).
Yamamoto is 1-5 in his last 6. So far in the octagon “Kid” has gone 0-3 with loss to Demetrious Johnson (UD), Darren Uyenoyama (UD), and Vaughan Lee (SUB).
Salazar made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night MacDonald vs. Saffedine as a late replacement for Rob Font, against Mitch Ganon; who would quickly submit Salazar by rear naked choke. The loss ended a 4 fight win streak.
UFC 184 is on February 28, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California; and is headlined by two UFC title bouts with Vitor Belfort Challenging Chris Weidman and Cat Zingano challenging Ronda Rousey.
