Curran vs. Weichel & Budd vs. Nogueira added to Bellator Manhoef vs. Shlemenko

The newest additions to the February 13th, Bellator Manhoef vs. Shlemenko event are both will take place at 145 lbs.

Former 2-time Bellator Featherweight champion Pat Curran (20-6) will look to get back into the win column for the first time since losing his title to Patricio Freire by unanimous decision at Bellator 123, when he takes on German submission specialist Daniel “The Weasel” Weichel (34-8), who’s on a 6 fight win streak; with 5 of the wins by choke.

Curran is a accurate striker with a creative submission game who has been criticized for not being offensive or active enough on his feet. Curran has 12 stoppages with 7 by submission, weichel has 21 of 26 stoppage wins by submission.

The other newly added Featherweight bout is in the woman’s Featherweight division and will see Canadian Julia Budd (6-2), who’s on a 4 fight wining streak against undefeated Brazilian Talita Nogueira (6-0), who’s won all her fights by stoppage with 4 submissions and 2 TKO’s Budd a Strikeforce and Invicta FC vet has not fought since scoring a unanimous decision win over Charmine Tweet in December of 2013, at Invicta FC 7.

Bellator Manhoef vs. Shlemenko is on February 13th, taking place at the Save Mart Center in Fresno Claifornia.
