A Bantamweight title eliminator between Joe Murphy (8-1) and Terrion Ware (12-3) will headline the next Resurrection Fighting Alliance event, RFA 23, on February 6th, at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California.
Murphy has rebounded from a WSOF 3 unanimous decision loss to Carson Beebe, with a pair of wins over Victor Henry (SD) and Bruno Frazatto (TKO). Ware has won 7 of 8 and is coming off a TKO of Jeff Martin, bouncing back from a submission loss to Joe Soto.
The co-main event will also be a title eliminator, but in the Middleweight division with Gabriel Checco (7-1) vs. Joseph Henle (9-1-1). Checco, who has never fought to a decision will be looking to rebound from a submission to Jake Collier in what was a RFA Middleweight title bout main event, at RFA 19. Checco has 7 wins by stoppage with 4 by (T)KO. Henle a MFC vet who is coming off a submission win over Miguel Cosio, will be fight for the first time in 23 months. Henle has 5 of 7 stoppage wins by submission.
Also on the card Raoni Barcelos (7-1) vs. Sam Toomer (9-0), Marcelo Mafra (6-0) vs. Ricky Legere Jr. (19-6), Jocelyn Lybarger (4-1) vs. Maria Rios (2-0), and John Hackleman Jr. (2-1) vs. Blake Troop (2-2).
