Ingenious Promotions will be will be presenting “B-Town Beat Down 3” an pro/am MMA event at Eagle Park in Belen , New Mexico, on March 28th; headlined by a catchweight bout between Manuel “Mano” Otero (5-8) and Maurice “The Hulk” Jackson (4-1).
Otero has not fought in nearly 6 years, but of his 13 career fight only one has gone the distance. “Mano” has even shared the cage with Strikeforce and UFC vet Quinn Mulhern, but is on a 2 fight losing streak. The last time Oterp had his hand raised wasin February of 2009, when scored a 1st round TKO of Adam Oakey.
Luttrell’s MMA’s, Jackson is a native of Chicago, Illinois, who came west to follohis fight dreams. After twice in a row at 2 different events having opponents back out on him, the 3rd time was the charm for “The Hulk”. In September Jackson fought for the first time in 2 years defeating Raul Frias at Combat Xtreme “Rumble at the Ranch” by 2nd round TKO.
In the co-feature Perez Fighting Systems Derek Perez coming off a 1st round submission of Isiah Reyes, at Triple A MMA X: Genesis, faces Joe Salazar.
In addition to the in cage action, also bringing the entertainment will be performances from artists on Loyalty and Respect Records.
